I have been learning musical instruments since I was 7, starting with piano (achieved Grade 5). I have been drumming for around 6 years and am currently preparing for Grade 8 having achieved a distinction at Grade 6. I also got a grade 8 in my music GCSE.

I play in various different ensembles on kit, tuned and auxiliary percussion

• With Swindon Brass I play kit, tuned and auxiliary percussion. This is for both concerts and competitions
• Similarly, with Swindon Young Musicians' senior wind band, I play kit, tuned and aux and have had some experience of playing timpani
• I played kit for my school's production of High School Musical, where I was the only amateur musician in a band of professionals
• I also have experience playing with backing tracks + click tracks (for various choirs) as well as your classic rock/pop band.
• I have also played in a local production of Oliver, as well as sitting in the pit with the bands at my local theatre
• I also play in a cover band where we gig at local pubs and school concerts
